J P Vaswani - Spiritual Guide, Writer, Poet & Educationist

Many Sindhi jewels are born on the auspicious land of sindh, one most significant of modern times among these is our beloved Dada Jashan Vaswani. He was born on 2nd August 1918 at Hyderabad Sindh[ presently in the Pakistan] as the son of Krishnadevi & Pahlajrai Vaswani.

From very early childhood he was among the intelligent, brilliant and genius students, at the tender age of 13 passed the exam of Matric with flying colors and went on for writing thesis "scattering of Rays", which was examined by great Indian scientist Sir. C. V. Raman. this work fetched him his master's degree. After completing education he worked as a fellow at D. J. Sindh college at Karachi.

God always hints us about the purpose for which we are born on the earth and only the blessed one can understood this hint. Surely Dada ji is among the blessed ones. He followed path of his uncle, the great philosopher, educationist and humanitarian Sadhu T. L. Vaswani and not only worked with him but always treated him as the guide and guru on the path of spiritual development.

Dada ji joined magazine excelsior in the capacity of editor and started to give spiritual dimension to the magazine. Most of his friends & fellow workers were disliked his efforts hence he was left alone to do all the works related with the magazine starting from writing the articles to dispatch the printed one, even the collection of advertisements for the magazine.

In the year 1962, he become honorary principal of St. Mira's College- the first only girls college, established in same year and till 1978 kept on working in same capacity. He is a person filed with wisdom and with art of touching the hearts with his voice and writings. Dada Jashan Vaswani is also a well known Indian Sindhi writer, he has wrote many books in English & Sindhi language. I feel lucky for having read his some of writings like "Burn anger before it burns you" a book deals with most destroying and constructive emotion of human life and suggest some very effective ways of controlling this fiery emotion and keep one's psychic balance in unwanted and beyond self control situations.

His magical personality gets illumination during his public speech & conversation with people. His soft silky voice touches the hearts of listeners and illustrations from the life of common man diverts even to un literates towards the God and true meaning of existence of human on the earth. He not only carried forward the work of Sadhu Vaswani by looking after the Sadhu Vaswani Mission but has traveled to various lands for healing and helping the humanity and poor suffering class of the society.
