Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
This is all part of Sikh history that when Dhirmal refused to handover the Adi Pothi [which he had stolen from the house of Guru Hargobind], Dasam Pitah Guru Gobind Singh ji took upon himself to recreate the entire Granth with inclusion of banis of all Sikh Gurus and started dictating Devine Gurbani to Sikh scholar Bhai Manisingh. This took nearly five years, to recreate Granth Sahib at Talwandi [now known as Damdama Sahib]. On 20th October 1708 at Nanded, Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave their final sermon and confirmed permanent Gurudom on the Damdama version of Granth, since that day Granth is known as Sri Guru Granth Sahib, eternal Guru of Sikhs.
