actress Meena Kumari was also pioneer for
creating the tradition of, child artist
starting to work as the lead lady of the
movies. This tradition of Hindi films of kept
alive by Urmila Martomdar and the recent name
of this trend is of teen age girl Hansika
Motwani.
Hansika was
born on 9th August 1991 at Mumbai
Maharshtra as the daughter of Mona and Pradeep
Motwani. Her schooling was taken care with
Podar International School at mumbai. It is
often said that one needs God Father for
success at bollywood and Hansika cam be said
lucky as she got one in the form of Juhi
Chawala, she identified the talent of young
Hansika and recommended her for the movie
"Yahoo" featuring Govinda and Juhi Chawala,
unfortunately this movie buried in the cans
forever but Juhi kept supporting Hansika hence
soon she appeared in a commercial endorsement
of Hyundai Santro campaign in which she
appeared along with Shahrukh Khan.
Hansika
also acted in various Television serials like
“Kyunki Saas bhi kabi bahu thi” of Ekta
Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms but it was “Des
main Nikla hoga chand”and the all time super
hit serial and Hum 2 hain na as a Child
artist. She played a dual role in these serial
and became a familiar name to everyone. She
was also part of super duper hit film "Koi Mil
Gaya" and her role in Mehul Kumar's train rape
based film "Jago" was appreciated by all.
Hansika
Motwani made debut on silver screen with lead
role in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film,
Desamuduru opposite Allu Arjun. In the Hindi
films as lead lady she appeared first time in
the Himesh Reshmaiya in the movie "Aap Ka
Suroor - The Real Love Story", a film based of
true love life of singer actor. For this movie
she got nomination for the prestigious
Filmfare Award for the best debut Female along
with Deepika Padukone.
Currently she is busy with the shooting of
film Kantri with Junior NTR. Her another on
the floor films is Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is
on the floors in which Govinda is also playing
important role. Though she is new comer but
according to critics she is among the top five
actress of film world. |
